About
I'm Mani Kumar Kundurthi. I work in data science and quantitative modeling — currently building AI-driven dynamic pricing frameworks for commercial banking portfolios, covering segmentation, elasticity modeling, and constrained optimization.
Outside of applied work, I spend time on mathematics (pure and applied), competitive programming, and software projects across a few different languages. This site is where I write things down as I learn them — mostly machine learning internals, coding notes, and math I wanted to actually understand rather than take for granted.
Expect derivations, working code, and the occasional dead end left in on purpose.
What to expect
- Machine learning — model internals, the math underneath common methods, and notes from working through things like ensemble methods, GAMs, and evaluation metrics.
- Coding — implementation notes, small projects, and language exploration across Python, Go, and whatever else I'm poking at.
- Math — pure and applied topics I wanted to actually derive rather than just cite, from linear algebra to the occasional recreational problem.
How this site works
No comments, no newsletter, no tracking. Articles are plain Markdown files with inline LaTeX rendered at build time. If something's wrong or unclear, feel free to reach out through any of the links below.
